Senior Marketing Data Analyst, primary role will encompass gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data from our diverse marketing channels. Additionally, this role will play a vital part in enhancing our marketing tech stack, centralizing data, and visualizing it for clearer insights. The goal will be to apply these insights to inform marketing decisions, optimize campaigns, improve customer segmentation, and enable predictive analytics.

 

What you’ll do

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency in data definitions and sources.
  • Identify BI requirements and transform them into actionable reports and dashboards.
  • Conduct ongoing evaluations of marketing campaigns, focusing on KPIs that reveal ROI.
  • Simplify complex data into straightforward insights to guide campaign strategies.
  • Report on marketing and sales funnel stage conversions, incorporating both first and multi-touch source attribution.
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics across various marketing platforms regularly.
  • Mature existing marketing forecast and prediction models using multi-year performance trends.
  • Develop and implement advanced analytical models to understand customer behavior and optimize marketing strategies.
  • Establish accurate tracking configurations across digital platforms with digital marketing colleagues.
  • Develop and manage data integrations between our marketing and sales platforms, involving complex data workflows.
  • Create comprehensive reports for senior management to show progress towards KPIs and ROI.
  • Identify, evaluate, and advocate for new data analytics tools and technologies.
  • Share best practices with others and promote cross-functional learning.
  • Provide mentoring and guidance on data analysis techniques and data sources to less data savvy marketing team members.
  • Coordinate with the IT department on data-related technical issues.
  • Oversee data governance, ensuring accuracy and completeness of data within reports and dashboards.
  • Take ownership of data-related problems and drive the resolution process.
  • All other duties as assigned.

 

What you’ll bring

  • A Bachelor’s degree in technology, marketing, communications, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience.
  • Comprehensive understanding of full marketing and sales funnels, including familiarity with lead maturation processes. You should be comfortable navigating these complex funnels and deriving insightful conclusions.
  • Expertise in BI tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, Data Studio, etc. Familiarity with database engines like SnowFlake, Redshift, BigQuery, etc. Demonstrated proficiency in SQL.
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience working with data sourced from inbound marketing platforms like HubSpot, Adobe Campaign, and Marketo. If you have HubSpot Operations Hub experience, that's a definite plus.
  • Proven ability to learn new marketing platforms quickly and establish necessary connections using data pipelines and workflow automation platforms.
  • Proficiency in creating and managing data workflows using platforms such as n8n, Tray, Make, etc.
  • Ability to translate complex data sets into easily understandable insights, both visually and verbally, reflecting excellent communication skills.
  • Proven ability to multitask and maintain high performance in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This shows adaptability, resilience, and a solution-oriented mindset.

  • Strong administrative/technical skills; Comfort working on a PC using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), IM/video conferencing (Teams & Zoom), and telephones efficiently.
